MB bus Temp Hum Sensor - digital temperature and humidity sensor on RS485

The MB Temp Hum Sensor device is an electronic device that allows you to control the temperature from -40 ° C to + 80 ° C of an environment and the relative humidity value from 0 to 100% RH via a PC or Embedded system. For the measurement it uses a digital sensor that guarantees high measurement accuracy and an accuracy of ± 0.5 ° C for the temperature and ± 2% for the relative humidity.

The device is composed of a logic and the temperature - humidity sensor: it is possible to keep both units together or keep them separate and connected by means of a 3-wire cable (not supplied) which allows you to place only the sensor in the environment and the logic in another place. In this case it is advisable not to exceed 10 meters in length of the cable that connects logic and sensor to avoid possible errors from interference in the readings.

The sensor requires at least 2 seconds of interval between one reading and the next and this delay is completely managed by the logic board and is transparent in the reading. It is also possible to carry out a conversion on several sensors with a single broadcast command with the correctness control of the conversion.

The characteristics of the device make it ideal for detecting temperatures and humidity in normal domestic, office and outdoor environments, the variation of which is not excessively sudden. In contrary cases we recommend the use of dedicated MB BUS devices.

The device is designed to be installed in an RS485 network allowing the installation of the device together with other 30 devices of the same MB family, being able to create a powerful home or industrial automation system.
