It allows you to charge two 6V, 12V or 24V lead-acid batteries simultaneously from a single energy source in an equalized and separate manner, allowing the more discharged battery to be recharged with more current than the more charged one.
The power source can be a dynamo, a DC generator, a wind generator, or a photovoltaic panel.
It supports a maximum charging current of over 10A total on the two channels (using an external heatsink you can reach up to 20A total, see notes), allowing it to be used even with large batteries.
It's perfect for campers if one battery powers the TV, radio, etc., and the other battery needs to be charged to start the engine. Or for weekend cottages if a battery used for the alarm system needs to remain charged.
Also ideal for emergency systems requiring double batteries.
