Description

A carbon monoxide detector is a safety device designed to continuously monitor the presence of CO in the air and provide prompt warning of dangerous concentrations. Carbon monoxide is an extremely dangerous colorless and odorless gas, making the detector essential for protection in both domestic and professional environments.

The device uses a high-precision electrochemical sensor , capable of detecting dangerous CO concentrations and activating an 85 dB audible alarm , accompanied by a flashing red LED. Battery power ensures operation even in the absence of a power supply.

After inserting the batteries, the device automatically turns on and begins monitoring air quality after a short stabilization period. Under normal conditions, the green LED indicates proper device operation, while in the event of an alarm or low battery, dedicated visual and audible signals are activated.

Operation and reporting

• CO Alarm: 4 short beeps with red LED flashing

• Low battery: 1 beep every 30 seconds; green LED continues to flash

• Device startup: one beep and one flash of the red LED

• Power saving mode:

  • Initially 4 beeps every 5 seconds

  • after 4 minutes it switches to 4 beeps every minute

The Test/Reset button allows you to check the correct functioning of the device and to reset the unit after an alarm.
