Based on the CN3791 chip and equipped with two status LEDs, this compact battery charger with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) technology allows you to recharge a 3.7 volt lithium polymer battery through a solar panel with an output voltage of 5 or 6 volts. The maximum output current is 3 A.
NB the battery and the solar panel are not included.
MPPT
MPPT is an acronym of English origin which stands for Maximum Power Point Tracker. This point varies continuously as a function of the level of solar radiation that hits the surface of the cells. This type of charge controller constantly analyzes the power (V * I) generated by the photovoltaic system, always supplying the batteries with the maximum charge current available, considerably reducing charging times.
