This device allows you to use an HDMI output device with a VGA output monitor. It is not a simple cable but contains digital-to-analog conversion circuits (DAC) that allow it to work with all HDMI devices including systems such as Raspberry, Console, PC, embedded systems and digital HDMI devices.

The device is self-powered from the HDMI port.

To work with Raspberry it is necessary to edit the boot.txt file on the SD card with WordPad or another program (not notepad) and activate the following options, removing the "#", from the entries:

hdmi_group = 1

hdmi_mode = 1

and if it does not work with the same procedure above, activate:

hdmi_safe = 1
