Bidirectional remote control system that uses the GSM/4G network for activations and controls.

Bidirectional remote control system, based on the SIMCom GSM/4G A7682E module, which uses the GSM network for activations and controls. All settings are made via SMS or locally via PC (via optional FT782M interface), it has two relay outputs with monostable or bistable operation and two opto-isolated alarm inputs.

Possibility of storing 8 numbers for sending alarms. The setup and configuration operations take place via SMS; the management of the outputs and the control of the status of the inputs, as well as with SMS, can be carried out with DTMF commands, sent via a protected voice call. Protection involves recognizing the caller's ID and/or entering a password.

Power supply between 9 and 32 Vdc, maximum absorption 1 A. The package includes the device already assembled and tested with the A7682E GSM/4G module and a GSM antenna in pen format with connection cable.

Important! To access the call service in areas covered by 4G on the LTE network, you need to have a SIM card with data and voice traffic compatible with VoLTE technology. Make sure, by contacting your telephone provider, that this technology is available for the SIM in use. In the absence of this service, the remote control would only work in SMS mode.

SIMCom's 4G module

The GSM/4G module signed A7682E is produced by SIMCom: it is essentially a quad-band mobile phone compatible with GSM/GPRS and 4G/LTE, without the display, microphone and speaker and keyboard, operating on the frequencies of 850/900/ 1800/1900MHz, usable both for Internet access and for voice communication, common telephone calls and SMS.

It is contained in a large 19.6×19.6×2.4 mm LCC+LGA type package, with the contacts therefore placed under the body, which implies soldering with a hot air jet or in special reflow machines soldering.

The SIMCom A7682E is an LTE Cat 1 module that supports the wireless communication modes of LTE-FDD/GSM/GPRS/EDGE; more precisely, LTE-FDD B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20. It supports a maximum downlink speed of 10 Mbps and an uplink speed of 5 Mbps. In EDGE mode the speeds are in Uplink/Downlink up to 236.8 kbps and in GPRS Uplink/Downlink up to 85.6 kbps.

The A7682E adopts a form factor compatible with SIM800C, SIM868 series (GSM/GPRS modules), which enables smooth migration from 2G to LTE devices and greatly facilitates design.

The A7682E module supports built-in network protocols TCP, IP, IPV4, IPV6,Multi-PDP, FTP, FTPS, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, as well as SSL communication security protocol.

It has drivers for the main operating systems (USB drivers for Microsoft Windows 7/8/10, Linux and Android). It has RIL support for Android 5.0/6.0/7.0/8.0/9.0 and firmware update via USB/FOTA.

The AT commands are compatible with the SIM800 series modules, therefore both the standard ATs and most of those from the proprietary SIMCom enhanced AT set.

Furthermore, the A7682E integrates major industrial standard interfaces, with powerful expandability, including numerous interfaces such as UART, USB 2.0, I²C-Bus, GPIO, suitable for major IOT applications such as telematics, surveillance devices, industrial routers and remote diagnostics etc. . The module is powered by direct voltage between 3.4 and 4.2 V (typically 3.8V) and absorbs a maximum of 0.8 A in transmission.
