EmonWPM Electricity consumption monitoring system CLOUD WiFi + Ethernet

Check the consumption of your home or the production of your photovoltaic system and the relative balance at any time and wherever you are. With this KIT you can immediately be aware of the consumption of your home and the moments of greatest production to evaluate the best strategies to save energy which is precious for the environment and your pockets.

Thanks to its clip-on amperometric sensors, you won't have to cut any cables for installation. All you have to do is connect the control unit to the 220V (from the power supply itself it also measures voltage and frequency) and apply the special clip that can be opened to the cables of interest to the measurement.

This KIT includes various innovative devices: 

·       2 CT 50A current meters with clips for easy installation on the wire

·       1 WiFi control unit powered by 220V for voltage measurement and connection of the 2 CTs with wireless communication

·       A central gateway that can be connected to your router both in Wireless WiFi, Ethernet cable or with 4G/5G dongles (not included) which can manage both data transmission and any automations (requires additional devices)

What you can do with our EmonWPM

·       Monitor the detailed consumption of your home, office or company electrical system at any time, both via the web portal and via the APP.

·       If you have a photovoltaic system, we can monitor production and integrate it with consumption in order to check the balance and manage any device activation automation (requires additional equipment, contact us for any information)

·       Check active, reactive and apparent power of the various power lines. You can also check the voltage and frequency of the network

·       Possibility of expanding the system with other detectors of various kinds in order to be able to measure the power and electrical data of the individual sections

·       Have a history of energy consumption

How does it work?

The system requires the customer to install a detector with 2 current detection clamps for two lines to be monitored (e.g. consumption and production in a PV system or light line and socket line in a conventional system) and phase connection and neutral for powering the detection control unit. A Gateway will then be placed on site which will take care of creating a direct wireless connection with the detector in the electrical panel and sending the data to emoncms. AL Gateway is sufficient to provide a LAN network cable, it is also possible to connect it to the existing wireless network on site or use a 4G or 5 key/modem
