This temperature differential switch can measure the temperature in two different places and, depending on the temperature difference, turns a relay on or off. A typical use of this circuit is in the use of solar collectors: the circulation pump is activated only when the temperature difference between flow and return is large enough. The switching temperature can be adjusted by means of a precision multiturn trimmer. Ignition control by LED.
