Liquid level indicator for tanks, tanks and cisterns.

This monitoring device is useful for keeping the level of liquids (for example water) inside tanks, tanks and cisterns under control. It features seven inputs (to which electrodes can be connected) that can be placed inside the tank. Each electrode is associated with a corresponding LED that lights up when the liquid reaches the desired level (i.e. the electrode).

The heart of the device is the ULN2003 integrated circuit, a versatile and robust line-driver. Each electrode is connected to an input of the ULN2003 via a contact that remains isolated until touched or submerged in liquid. When this happens, the liquid acts as a resistor, allowing current to flow from the base of the corresponding Darlington into the ULN2003. This switching activates the corresponding output and lights up the associated LED, indicating the level reached.

The liquid level indicator for tanks or cisterns can show up to seven LEDs lit simultaneously, corresponding to the liquid levels achieved. You can consider the maximum level as a reference point for the maximum capacity of the tank.

The kit is supplied with 10 meters of cable and assembly instructions in Italian.
