The Kemo M149N is a regulator to be connected between a photovoltaic panel and a 12 V lead-acid battery , to control charging and avoid overcharging the battery.
Accepts panels with open circuit voltages between 14 and 30 V DC . The maximum input current is 10 A ; currents up to 20 A are permitted for short periods only, not exceeding 5 minutes .
Charging starts when the battery voltage drops below approximately 13.4 V and stops when it exceeds approximately 14.4 V. Two LED indicators indicate the charging and full battery status.
Check that the panel and battery comply with the specified voltages and currents. Connect the regulator according to the product manual and respecting the polarity of the connections.
