Like a real key, the RFID electronic lock allows you to open automatic gates, doors, alarms, burglar alarms or activate lights and devices. The physical key is replaced with an RFID wireless electronic card to be carried in the wallet that activates the lock without being extracted, thanks to wireless technology, in fact, it is enough to place the card or wallet with the card a few centimeters from the lock to operate it directly. Each card has a unique code that allows the lock to be activated only with previously programmed RFID cards. Tiles can be removed and added individually at any time. The compatible RFID cards are all those in standard 125 KHz with a preprogrammed code.

This lock also supports the reception of the code through the numeric keypad present on the body of the device, allowing to assign codes to different users in order to manage the enabling and deletion independently.

The lock output is on a relay with NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed) contacts to directly control an actuator. The device is powered at 12Vdc. It optionally supports (not included) an external manual opening button and a door opening sensor due to its switchable door control alarm functionality, optionally allowing the control unit to report opening attempts without authorization or if a user forgets the door open.

It also has a Wiegand W26 input for connecting RFID readers or external keyboards (second place of interaction)
