9 / 35Vdc ceiling photoelectric smoke detector with alarm contact

The Photoelectric or "Optical" Smoke Detector is ideal when the fire could smolder for several hours before igniting. The photoelectric smoke detector manages a light source and a photoelectric cell converts the light into a small electric current. When smoke particles enter the detection zone of the photoelectric smoke detector, it triggers the alarm via a 2 or 4 wire connection (see diagrams).
