Half-duplex transceiver with LoRa modulation technique able to guarantee very long distance communications, high interference immunity, high sensitivity and low energy consumption.

XTR-8LR-USB is a radio-modem with Usb user interface, used as a receiver and data concentrator from the XTR-8LR10 and XTR-8LR100 modules.

It supports the addressing of packets for point-to-point communications, the command-mode functionality for the settings of the main radio parameters, offering the user multiple solutions and flexibility to problems encountered in the field.

DESCRIPTION

XTR-8LR-USB is a half duplex transceiver perfectly suited for long range communications thanks to its patented “LoRa ™” modulation technique, which guarantees high interference immunity, very low current consumption and high sensitivity.

Comparing this type of modulation with the classic ones, XTR-8LR-USB has significantly improved the sensitivity of the receiver up to 20 dBm, guaranteeing a long budget-link with significantly lower output power and current consumption.

The transceiver works in the European bands 869.40 ÷ 869.65MHz (100mW, ver. 8LR100) and 868 ÷ 868.6MHz (25mW ver. 8LR10) with the possibility of setting the channel width. XTR-8LR-USB is a radio-modem with USB interface, used as a receiver or data concentrator coming from the XTR-8LR10 and XTR-8LR100 modules.

It can manage addressing data for point-to-multipoint or star networks.

The main radio parameters can be easily set via the command mode procedure.

The operating voltage is 5V, the current consumption is 20 mA in reception, 135 mA in transmission (+ 20dBm ERP).
