The S500 Series energy meters in DIN format are used for energy measurement in industrial and civil environments. They are available with integrated, remote and MID certified communication. The totalizers and instantaneous powers are shown on the LCD display. For remote management, the ENERGY MODBUS PACK tools are available for meters with ModBUS interface. The S500 meters are built in complete compliance with the EN 50470-1 standard. Accuracy of active energy refers to standard IEC/EN 62053-21 class 1. Accuracy of reactive energy refers to standard IEC/EN 62053-23 class 2.

S500 Series ENERGY METERS

S501-40 is a family of compact energy meters with 1 DIN module for measuring energy in industrial and civil environments, with the possibility of integrated RS485 Modbus RTU or M-Bus communication and availability of the MID certificate for billing. In addition to energy, the meter measures the main electrical parameters and makes them available both on the display and on the integrated COM port, if available. The ENERGY MODBUS PACK and ENERGY M-BUS PACK software are available for remote/bus management of the meter.

The S501-40 models are built in compliance with the EN 50470-1 standard. The active energy complies with class 1 of the standard IEC/EN 62053-21. The MID certified version meets the requirements of class B of the standard EN 50470-3 relating to active energy. The accuracy of the reactive energy always refers to the IEC/EN 62053-23 class 2 standard.

The large backlit LCD display ensures easy reading of the status and the indicated values (up to 7 instantaneous parameters measured). The metrological LED is located on the front panel. The terminal cover is sealable to prevent tampering. The analysis of the MTBF value, the careful selection of the components and the reduction of the internal working temperatures guarantee a product with excellent quality and lasting reliability.
