Device that allows the automatic partial discharge of 7.2V 6-cell Ni-Cd or Hi-MH battery packs used in model making, racing and radio-controlled cars to prevent the memory effect and greatly increase the life of the battery.
Just connect the device to a battery pack with TAM type “A” (type TAMYA) female connector to automatically activate the discharge phase, indicated by a LED on the device body.
The device automatically stops the discharge as soon as a voltage of about 5.4V is reached by the pack through a special battery protection circuit.
Stopping the discharge is indicated by the LED.
