The ATC-105 is an extremely low cost device for interface conversion from RS232 to RS422 / 485. The converter is directly inserted in the DB9-M connector of the DTE port and provides an RS422 / 485 interface on 4 terminals.
The device is equipped with 3500V galvanic isolation between the RS232 interface and the RS422 / 485.
It is possible to select the RS422 or RS485 mode and the operation of the converter as DTE or DCE. In RS485 mode the transmission switching is completely automatic and transparent to the connected devices.
