Capacitive rain sensor, compared to the classic ones, has less degradation over time due to corrosion and works without problems even in the presence of distilled water or strong storms. Ideal for closing curtains, shutters, irrigation systems and home automation systems.

A relay connects if the fully insulated sensor plate gets wet (e.g. raindrops). In contrast to rain detectors with a metal sensor, this sensor works capacitively. This means that it also changes when it comes into contact with distilled water (completely clean rain). The skylights can then be closed with it, the canvas curtains can be pulled in or the rain is just indicated. 2 LEDs installed indicate function. Sensitivity is adjustable.
