12V DC capacitive rain sensor with relay output max contact 25V 2.5A

Capacitive rain sensor, compared to the classic ones, has less degradation over time due to corrosion and works without problems even in the presence of distilled water or strong storms. Ideal for closing curtains, shutters, irrigation systems and home automation systems.

A relay switches if the fully insulated sensor plate gets wet (e.g. raindrops). In contrast to rain sensors with a metal sensor, this sensor works capacitively. This means that it also switches when it comes into contact with distilled water (completely clean rain). Skylights can then be closed with it, canvas blinds can be pulled in or rain is just indicated. 2 installed LEDs indicate the function. The sensitivity is adjustable.
