MANUALS AND GUIDES

The Shield Arduino Ethernet 2 is the consequent evolution of the popular Shield Ethernet. In a few minutes you can connect your Arduino with the infinite immensity of the Internet. You simply have to insert the Shield on your board and connect it to your router via the RJ45 cable. For example, you can immediately receive commands from the "World Wide Web" or make the data on your inserted micro SD card accessible to the public. The most complex workflows are done in the background.

The Shield Ethernet boasts the new W5500 module which has an internal buffer of 32 KB has and allows a speed of 10 or 100 Mb / s. Simultaneous connection to up to eight sockets is possible. You can work with both Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and User Datagram Protocol (UDP). Multiple LEDs continuously warn you of important events, such as eg. sending or receiving data or stable connection to the network. This makes it easier to identify possible sources of error.

Technical data

  •          Transmission speed: 10/100 Mbit
  •          Protocol: TCP / UDP
  •          Connection: RJ45-Buchse

The Arduino Ethernet Shield 2 connects your Arduino to the internet in minutes. Just connect this module to the Arduino board, connect it to the network with an RJ45 cable (not included) and follow a few simple steps to start controlling your world through the Internet. As always with Arduino , every element of the platform - hardware, software and documentation - is freely available and open-source. This means you can learn exactly how it is made and use its design as a starting point for your circuits. Hundreds of thousands of Arduino boards are already fueling the creativity of people around the world, every day. Join us now, Arduino you!
