It allows you to charge 2 lead-acid batteries of 6V, 12V or 24V simultaneously from a single energy source in an equalized and separate way, allowing you to recharge the more discharged battery with more current than the more charged one.
The energy source can be a dynamo, a DC generator, a wind generator or a photovoltaic panel.
It supports a maximum charge current of over 10A total on the two channels (using an external heatsink you can reach a total of 20A, see notes), allowing it to be used even with large batteries.
It is perfect for RVs if a battery operates the television, radio etc. and the second battery must remain charged in order to start the engine. Or for weekend cottages if a battery used for the alarm system is not to be emptied.
Also ideal for emergency systems that require a double battery.

Important installation instructions, please note!
Depending on the load, the module heats up. The heat is dissipated by the aluminum plate at the bottom of the module. Under certain circumstances it must be mounted on a cooling surface according to the installation instructions. It is important that the module is fixed with 4 M3 screws (or 2.9 mm metal screws) on the cooling surface. This can be the back wall of a metal enclosure. The aluminum plate on the bottom of the module must not bend, do not use larger screws and no larger holes. The screw heads must rest on the module plate, rather than the plastic edge of the module! During assembly, the module should not be curled up (if the ground is not flat). The reason: inside the aluminum module base thin insulating layer are soldered directly on the SMD electronic components. When the aluminum floor of the module curls up, the joints and the top of the module loosen and the module is faulty. Please ensure that the specified maximum temperature (as specified in the module description) is not exceeded. If not, apply a larger cooling plate.
