In vehicles:

This is an accessory for contact plate electrical contact devices, which are used against martens in vehicles. Martens entering the engine department only have an electric shock when touching the high-voltage contact plates if they simultaneously touch the vehicle mass (frame) with their paws. But nowadays there are machines that are widely arranged with plastic coatings. In such cases the contact of the hammer with the high voltage contact plates is ineffective as there is no simultaneous contact with the vehicle mass (chassis). In this case it is necessary that this self-adhesive "ground" mat is placed side by side with the high voltage contact plates, so that the hammer will touch it with its paws when it is triggered in the high voltage contact plates. A cable is attached to the "grounded" mat, which must be electrically connected to the closest ground point of the vehicle.

The carpet "on the ground" must not be exposed to temperatures above 60 ° C.

On the walls:

This "floor" mat can also be mounted inside the entrance holes, eg. on the lofts, to chase away the martinis from the house. In this case the mat must be affixed to the bottom of the entrance hole on the floor, the high voltage contact plates must be mounted at hammer-eye level directly towards the face and the "ground" cable must be connected with the ground connection (negative pole of the battery) of the high voltage hammer defense. If the hammer now wants to slip through its entry hole in the loft, then it inevitably touches the "ground" mat with its paws and a high-tension contact plate with the muzzle or front paws. If the hammer then takes an electric shock, run away.
