The PMR446 and Bibanda transceivers are the most advanced and efficient technological solution to communicate with one or more people at no cost. Communications take place immediately, without dialing numbers, or other procedures. All users listening on the same channel will receive the call and will be able to answer the communication one at a time. Just press the PTT (Push-To-Talk) button dedicated to broadcasting and talk! Midland transceivers are easy and fun to use; light, compact and with an attractive design. The PMR446 devices operate on frequencies obtained within 446 Mhz (8 channels) and have a transmission power of 500mW. The Bibanda devices also operate on the LPD band obtained within 433 Mhz (69 channels) and have a transmission power of 10mW, they are free to use from channel 1 to channel 20. These devices (both the PMR446 and the Bibanda) are subject to a General Authorization based on current regulations. Once purchased, an annual contribution of 12 euros is required and a "business start-up report" must be submitted through an application, on plain paper, to be submitted to the Territorial Inspectorate of the Communications Department. |
