The Digital Frequency Meter Kit with Crystal Tester is a compact and versatile instrument designed for precision electronic measurements, ideal for laboratories, hobbyists, amateur radio operators and educational applications.
Based on the PIC16F628A programmed microcontroller, the device allows measurement of frequencies between 1 Hz and 50 MHz , as well as testing oscillator crystals with frequencies from 4 MHz to 40 MHz .
The system uses a highly visible 5-digit LED display that automatically shows the correct measurement range in Hz, kHz or MHz , making it simple and straightforward to use.
The frequency meter also features a programming button that allows you to add or subtract an offset value from the measured frequency, a useful feature for calibration, local oscillator, and RF applications.
There is also an energy saving mode: if the detected frequency remains unchanged for about 15 seconds, the display is automatically deactivated to reduce consumption.
The kit is supplied in a complete assembly box with:
