This device allows to save lead acid batteries from over discharge due to excessive use without adequate recharging. Over discharge occurs in a lead acid battery when its voltage drops below 10V for 12V nominal lead battery packs. The over-discharge also involves the rupture of the battery, even for one event, which subsequently will no longer be able to recharge.
Thanks to this device it is possible to eliminate this unpleasant occurrence in 12V lead-acid battery packs as it allows the load to be completely disconnected as soon as the over-discharge threshold is approached, adjustable from 10.4V to 13.3V.
The reactivation of the load occurs automatically when the voltage rises to a value greater than about 0.8V with respect to the discharge threshold.
It has OK status indication or low battery alarm via LED.
The device is ideal in any device that uses 12V lead-acid batteries with a maximum absorption of 10A (20A with cooling fin).
Housed in a plastic container with fixing holes for any screws.
Protects car batteries against total discharge by shutting down consumers such as refrigerator boxes, heaters, etc. in time. Automatically turns on again when normal voltage returns.
Examples of uses range from UPS, battery power supplies, backup power supplies, photovoltaic systems, cars. Trucks, campers, caravans, charge controllers and devices that use battery packs with photovoltaic panels.

NOTE ASSEMBLY ON ANY HEAT SINK TO EXPLOIT 20A
Depending on the load, the module heats up. The heat is dissipated by the aluminum plate at the bottom of the module. Under certain circumstances it must be mounted on a cooling surface according to the installation instructions. It is important that the module is fixed with 4 M3 screws (or 2.9 mm metal screws) on the cooling surface. This can be the back wall of a metal enclosure. The aluminum plate on the bottom of the module must not bend, do not use larger screws and no larger holes. The screw heads must rest on the module plate, rather than the plastic edge of the module! During assembly, the module should not be curled up (if the ground is not flat). The reason: inside the aluminum module base thin insulating layer are soldered directly on the SMD electronic components. When the aluminum floor of the module curls up, the joints and the top of the module loosen and the module is faulty. Please ensure that the specified maximum temperature (as specified in the module description) is not exceeded. If not, apply a larger cooling plate.
