4-channel LoRa remote control with command confirmation

The FT1359SET comprises a receiver with 4 relay outputs , based on the Aurel XTR-8LR-DEC module, and the XTR-8LR-4ZN handheld remote control . The system operates at 868.3 MHz with LoRa modulation and two-way communication, providing visual feedback on the remote control of command reception.

The receiver is supplied assembled and ready to use.

Main features

  • Four channels for controlling remote loads via relay.
  • Half-duplex radio communication with LoRa modulation.
  • Rolling code encoding.
  • Output mode selectable via DIP-switches SET1 and SET2.
  • Pairing remote controls via self-learning or manual button pairing.
  • Declared range up to 8 km in favorable conditions and as the crow flies; actual distance depends on obstacles, installation, and radio environment.

Exit modes

  • Monostable: the output remains active while the remote control button is pressed.
  • Bistable: Each press of the button changes the state of the output.
  • Monostable with 0.5 s delay: the output remains active during the press and for a further 0.5 seconds after its release.

The DIP switch settings are read at power-up. To change modes, turn off the power, change SET1 and SET2, and turn the receiver back on.

Pairing the remote control

Power the receiver with 5 V DC using a power supply capable of supplying approximately 300 mA . Press and release the button on the XTR-8LR-DEC module: the LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds. Within this interval, press a button on the remote control. Memorization is confirmed by the LED lighting up for 1 second, or for 0.5 seconds if the transmitter was already paired.

Manual key binding

  1. Enter learning by pressing and releasing the button on the module.
  2. Press the button again within 10 seconds: the LED remains lit steadily.
  3. Press the button to select OUT1, confirmed by a flash; further presses, after the LED returns to a steady state, select OUT2 and the subsequent outputs.
  4. Once you've selected the desired output, press the remote control button you want to pair. The LED confirms with a number of flashes corresponding to the output.

The manual pairing described above works in monostable mode. Repeat the procedure for other buttons or remote controls.
