Radiocomando on/off a quattro canali con uscita a relè e basato sul modulo ibrido LoRa XTR-8LR-DEC. Operante in banda ISM ad 868,3 MHz e abbinato al trasmettitore palmare XTR-8LR-4ZN (INCLUSO), permette di attivare carichi remoti a grande distanza (qualche km in linea d’aria) e realizzare un completo sistema di telecomando con feedback visivo della ricezione del comando direttamente sul telecomando.

Viene fornito montato e pronto all’uso!

Il modulo XTR-8LR-DEC è un ricetrasmettitore radio half-duplex Aurel nel quale è implementata la tecnica di modulazione LoRa Semtech, che assicura comunicazioni a lunghissima distanza, elevata immunità alle interferenze, elevata sensibilità e ridotti consumi in rapporto alle distanze coperte. Dispone di 4 uscite open-collector e due linee di impostazione della modalità di funzionamento delle uscite (monostabile o bistabile). Per ridurre il consumo medio di corrente a meno di 1 mA, l’XTR-8LR-DEC gestisce automaticamente accensione e disinserimento con ciclo di lavoro dedicato.

Quando il dispositivo è in modalità di ricezione, verifica se una trasmissione valida è in esecuzione e, in caso affermativo, rimane in ricezione continua per il tempo necessario alla decodifica. Il modulo rimane attivo se alcune uscite sono attive in modalità bistabile.

Procedura di Autoapprendimento

Alimentare la scheda con 5 volt in continua (occorre un alimentatore capace di fornire circa 300 milliampere) e seguire questa procedura:

1. premere e rilasciare il pulsante presente sul modulo XTR-8LR-DEC per entrare in modalità apprendimento; il LED lampeggia rapidamente per 10 secondi (trascorso questo tempo il dispositivo esce da detta modalità);

2. in questo periodo di tempo, premere un tasto del telecomando per associarlo al ricevitore; l’avvenuta memorizzazione del codice viene indicata dall’accensione per 1 secondo del LED sul ricevitore (se viene memorizzato un trasmettitore già associato, il LED si illumina solo per 0,5 secondi).

APPRENDIMENTO MANUALE

In alternativa all’autoapprendimento è possibile definire manualmente la corrispondenza tra i tasti del trasmettitore palmare e i relé di uscita del nostro circuito ricevente.

La procedura da eseguire è la seguente:

1. premere e rilasciare il pulsante presente sul modulo XTR-8LR-DEC per entrare in modalità apprendimento; il LED lampeggia rapidamente per 10 secondi (trascorso questo tempo il dispositivo esce da detta modalità);

2. in questo periodo di tempo premere nuovamente il pulsante sul modulo XTR-8LRDEC: il LED rimarrà acceso fisso;

3. premere nuovamente il pulsante sul modulo XTR-8LRDEC per selezionare l’uscita OUT1 (il LED lampeggerà una volta a confermare l’operazione);

4. premere nuovamente il pulsante (dopo che il LED torna acceso fisso) per selezionare l’uscita OUT2 (il LED lampeggerà due volte) e così via fino all’uscita desiderata;

5. una volta selezionata l’uscita desiderata (ed il LED rimane acceso fisso), premere il pulsante del telecomando da abbinare a detta uscita; il LED si spegnerà per poi riaccendersi, quindi emetterà un numero di lampeggi corrispondente al numero dell’uscita appena abbinata.

Dopo questo processo le uscite verranno attivate come previsto solo in modalità di funzionamento monostabile. Ripetete la stessa procedura per l’apprendimento di un nuovo telecomando o di un nuovo pulsante dello stesso trasmettitore.

FUNZIONAMENTO DELLE USCITE

La modalità di funzionamento delle 4 uscite del modulo XTR-8LR-DEC può essere impostata agendo sui dip-switch SET1 e SET2.

Le modalità hanno il seguente significato:

• monostabile: l’uscita del modulo XTR-8LR-DEC rimane attiva finché rimane premuto il pulsante del trasmettitore; il codice viene ritrasmesso periodicamente fino al rilascio del pulsante, tenendo il corrispondente relè attivo per tutta la pressione del pulsante

• bistabile: l’uscita cambia stato ogni volta che viene premuto il corrispondente pulsante del telecomando;

• monostabile 0,5 s: l’uscita del modulo XTR-8LR-DEC rimane attiva finché rimane premuto il pulsante del trasmettitore; dopo il rilascio del pulsante rimane attiva ancora per 0,5 secondi.

L’impostazione della modalità di funzionamento delle uscite viene rilevata solo all’accensione del modulo; per cambiare modalità è necessario spegnere il dispositivo, modificare le impostazioni dei DIP-switch SET1 e SET2, quindi fornire nuovamente alimentazione.

Four-channel on / off radio control with relay output and based on the LoRa XTR-8LR-DEC hybrid module. Operating in the 868.3 MHz ISM band and combined with the XTR-8LR-4ZN handheld transmitter (INCLUDED), it allows remote loads to be activated at great distances (a few km as the crow flies) and a complete remote control system with visual feedback receiving the command directly on the remote control.

The XTR-8LR-DEC module is a Aurel half-duplex radio transceiver in which the Semtech LoRa modulation technique is implemented, which ensures communications at very long distances, high immunity to interference, high sensitivity and reduced consumption in relation to the distances covered. It has 4 open-collector outputs and two lines for setting the operating mode of the outputs (monostable or bistable). To reduce the average current consumption to less than 1 mA, the XTR-8LR-DEC automatically manages ignition and disarming with a dedicated work cycle.

When the device is in reception mode, it checks whether a valid transmission is in progress and, if so, remains in continuous reception for the time necessary for decoding. The module remains active if some outputs are active in bistable mode.

Self-learning procedure

Power the card with 5 volts continuously (you need a power supply capable of supplying about 300 milliamps) and follow this procedure:

1. press and release the button on the XTR-8LR-DEC module to enter learning mode; the LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds (after this time the device exits from this mode);

2. during this time, press a button on the remote control to associate it with the receiver; the memorization of the code is indicated by the switching on for 1 second of the LED on the receiver (if an already associated transmitter is memorized, the LED lights up only for 0.5 seconds).

MANUAL LEARNING

As an alternative to self-learning, it is possible to manually define the correspondence between the keys of the hand-held transmitter and the output relays of our receiving circuit.

The procedure to be performed is the following:

1. press and release the button on the XTR-8LR-DEC module to enter learning mode; the LED flashes rapidly for 10 seconds (after this time the device exits from this mode);

2. during this time, press the button on the XTR-8LRDEC module again: the LED will remain on steady;

3. press the button on the XTR-8LRDEC module again to select the OUT1 output (the LED will flash once to confirm the operation);

4. press the button again (after the LED comes on steady) to select the OUT2 output (the LED will flash twice) and so on up to the desired output;

5. once the desired output has been selected (and the LED remains on steady), press the button on the remote control to be combined with this output; the LED will turn off and then turn back on, then it will emit a number of flashes corresponding to the number of the output just paired.

After this process the outputs will be activated as expected only in monostable operating mode. Repeat the same procedure for learning a new remote control or a new button on the same transmitter.

FUNCTIONING OF THE OUTPUTS

The operating mode of the 4 outputs of the XTR-8LR-DEC module can be set by acting on the dip-switches SET1 and SET2.

The modes have the following meaning:

• monostable: the XTR-8LR-DEC module output remains active as long as the transmitter button is pressed;

• bistable: the output changes state each time the corresponding remote control button is pressed;

• 0.5 s monostable: the XTR-8LR-DEC module output remains active as long as the transmitter button is pressed; after releasing the button it remains active for 0.5 seconds.

The setting of the operating mode of the outputs is detected only when the module is switched on; to change the mode it is necessary to switch off the device, change the settings of the DIP-switches SET1 and SET2, then supply power again.
