The Kemo M150 is a professional converter designed to transform a DC or PWM control signal into a command suitable for the Kemo series AC dimmers (M012, M028, M028N).
It allows you to replace the manual potentiometer of the dimmer modules with an electronic control coming from microcontrollers, PLCs, home automation systems, Arduino , Raspberry Pi and PC.
Thanks to its galvanic isolation, it protects the control electronics from mains voltage circuits, ensuring safety and reliability.
Main features
- DC voltage control: 1–5 V / 3–12 V / 6–24 V
- PWM/TTL pulse control: 5V, frequency 1–10kHz
- Compatible with Kemo M012, M028, M028N dimmer modules
- Galvanic isolation between control and power circuit
- Ideal for automation, home automation, robotics, light/fan/transformer regulation
- Duty cycle regulation (10–90%) in PWM mode
- Compact size: about 70 × 60 × 23 mm
- Operation with 110–230 V AC power supply (via connected dimmer)
Applications
- Remote or automatic control of AC dimmers
- Integration into Arduino / Raspberry Pi / ESP32 projects
- Light regulation, AC motors, transformers, heaters
- Industrial and hobby automation
- Potentiometer replacement for precise and programmable adjustments

Technical data
- Operating voltage 110V/AC or 230V/AC (is brought to the dimmer module via the connections)
- Output: The module provides a control voltage for the potentiometer input of the M012, M028 or M028N dimmer modules (page 46)
- Input: The M150 module can be controlled with DC control voltages from 1 to 5 V/DC, 3 to 12 V/DC, or 6 to 24 V/DC. Or with TTL pulses with pulse-width modulation.
- Frequency between 1 and 10 kHz
- Pulse voltage approximately 5V/DC, pulse width 10-90% PWM. Power is regulated with a pulse width of 10-90%.
- Input resistance: 1-5V/DC control input >1.4kΩ, 3-12V/DC control input >4.1kΩ, 6-24V/DC control input >9.1kΩ
- TTL pulse input >1.1 kΩ
- Galvanic separation via an optocoupler between the control inputs and the signal output to the power control module.
- Dimensions: approx. 70 x 60 x 23 mm (without fixing ties).
